I’ve begun uploading photos from the old Rimbachvets.org site.

It’s a relatively slow process.  I upload a batch of photos, but each must be individually titled (and preferably captioned), so it’s one image at a time moving over to the Photos page on the site.

I arbitrarily started with Reunion 2004 photos since Bill had already created a category for that.  Ron Biancosino’s were the first photos uploaded.  Fortunately, he labeled his photos with the names of the people in them.

Be patient.  I’m new at CMS, but it’s getting easier as I go along and Bill picks me up when I stumble.

All of the 2004 reunion photos that were on the old Rimbachvets.org site have been uploaded to the Photo Gallery.
Jim Menzie’s photos were stored on Picasa, so we’re going to have to get them uploaded later.

I’ll tackle the 2001 reunion next.  I don’t think there are 570+ photos from that reunion

Wow. I had no idea there would be that many.

I got the Reunion 2001 photos uploaded this evening.

George Kleber sent a really nice photo of The Hill which I posted in the photo galleries in a new gallery called The Hill in a sub-gallery which will eventually include shots of The Hill from a distance.

Another sub-gallery will include photos shot on The Hill either of the site or views from the site.

And, no, I’m not yet finished uploading the reunion photos.  I have the 2007 reunion next on the agenda.

Phil Wetzel came down from Ft. Worth for a visit this weekend, so I took some time off from photo uploading to show Phil how San Angelo and Goodfellow have changed since he was last here in 1971.  We drank a few beers, ate some good steaks and told war stories—the usual sort of things we do when we get together.

I just uploaded another hundred or so photos to the site.  Several hundred more to go.  We’re getting there.

I just uploaded 150 party photos.  I’ll get them captioned at some later date.

I just uploaded a few hundred of Jim Menzie’s photos from the 2004 and 2007 reunions in Rimbach.
I’ll have to pull the captions from the individual html pages at a later date.

Just posted several photos to Fests, Sights In and Around Rimbach and Ridgerunners and Friends submitted by Dan Hagy.
