Someone asked me tonight how many were planning at attend next year’s reunion, and while there have been several who’ve said they would over the past few months, I don’t think anyone’s been counting. So I thought I’d ask again, then keep a running count in a separate post in the “Official Reunion Announcements” forum, updated with new info when available.

Please indicate if 1) you’re planning to attend, 2) know that you (unfortunately) can’t attend, or 3) may or may not, but don’t know yet. Also, those who are attending, please post and let us know where you are planning to stay during the reunion so we can plan accordingly.

Sadly I must answer 2. Would be nice to meet everyone in person (some for the first time) but I just can’t do it. j

Two of us will be coming for the 12th thru the 14th. We are looking forward to it with relish. All you 1968-70 guys and gals try to be there!

Janet and I will also be in category 2 for the 2009 reunion.
We’ll be attending the Miller Family’s 50th annual reunion in Pennsylvania.
I’ll eventually make one of the reunions in Rimbach (I hope).

Currently I plan to be there but won’t be able to make any definitive plans until after the first of the year.

Sorry, I can’t attend the reunion.  I am still teaching until late June.  I hope you all have fun.  Perhaps when I retire, in a few years, I can make it to one of the reunions.

Christa and I plan to attend and are looking forward to seeing old and new friends.

I am sure you all know how much I would like to be at the Rimbach 2009 reunion.  My wife and I attended the Hagerstown reunion in 2001, and I was in Rimbach in 2004 and again in Boston in 2005 - not to mention three reunions over the last 10 or 12 years with my DLI Czech classmates - which my wife also attended.  With Rimbach putting on a Heimatfest in June 2009 it is the logical time for a reunion, but the timing is bad for me because of the school schedules of my two youngest kids (11 and 15). 

Based on my own experience at the reunions I know what many of you have missed, so I would urge all who are able to take advantage of this opportunity.  A great time should be had by all in 2009.

Current plans are to attend with 2 to 4 friends. Depends on time off from work for all involved. Looking forward to seeing old friends.

I plan to attend, but a safer answer, due to the econony, I that I am not sure yet.

I plan on attending the 2009 reunion.

Maria and I plan on making it. Hopefully everyone in her family,
and mine (smile) will stay healthy this time.

Pivo will be attending the June 2009 reunion.
Not yet sure of arrival or departure dates, but I will be spending a litle longer time in Rimbach than I did last time (2004-4 days).
I have to visit my nephew and his wife in Hamburg and their 2 Deutsche kinder.
Anyone who did not attend 2004 - we had terrific fun and it was worth every effort.
