Annemarie and I are planning to attend the Reunion and are looking forward to seeing and celebrating with old and new friends .

Melody & I are planning to be in europe from the 8th of June to the 26th of June. Of course we will be at Rimbach for the Reunion!
I’m looking at Airfares today and found US Airway has a great price for that time frame. Melody and I would be interested in any trip Charlie might cook up, heheh I’m sure it would be interesting and fun.
Look forward to see all who can attend and those who were there for the 07 reunion.
I’m hoping for weather like 07, I think we had only 1 or 2 days of rain and the temp wasn’t bad either.

Though we’d love to come, my son Josh is getting married in June out in Spokane. He’s a SSGT, SERE (survival) instructor out there. My wife Regina is from Stuttgart and we still have family over there. It sounds like a blast and make sure lots of pictures get posted.

I have bought tickets and I and my friend Cindy will be there for the weekend   We are looking forward to seeing everybody We will arrive on Friday and leave on Monday.  Hope that we will be able mto get a reservation at the Bayrische Hof.

Unfortunately, Sandy and I cannot make it this year.  Y’all have a blast!

Hal give you a call? Glad to hear it. He really enjoyed the 2004 gathering, as a quick glance of those photos will show! I’ll mark him on the “gonna be there” list.

BTW, Dave, where’d you get the caricature done? I’d love to have something like of myself.

Went up the hill to the Schönblick and while I was outside to take a couple of pictures of the add on they were making to the Schönblick, Hal and Charlie had already organised an accordion player and a whole table full of people and as I came back again, they were schunkeln, just like in the old days!

I had the caricuture drawn in the Orient Express, I took a ride on it back in the mid 90’s, strange thing it always seems to look like me, even as I age!

Ha! I took pictures of Hal dancing on the tables at the Rimbach fest in 2004. He had a heck of a time! I look forward to seeing him again this summer.

When Steve, Phillip and I went to the Schönblick in October 2007, I made sure to take Phillip inside, show him the boot and tell him the story.

I’ve looked around online and found a few places that would produce a digital caricature, but I’ve so far been too chicken to pay in advance for it.

I am sorry to announce that Christa & I will be unable to attend the 2009 reunion.  Due to cutbacks in staff, I can’t make the time work out.  We will miss seeing all of you again but look forward to the posts and pictures.  Ed & Christa

Sorry to hear you and Christa can’t attend, Ed. Haven’t seen you since 2004 and was looking forward to it. We’ll be sure to raise a few for all those Rimbachers who couldn’t make it this year.

Maria and I are also sad to hear that you and Christa can not make it Ed. We had a blast with you in Las Vegas, and were looking forward to seeing you both again. Best wishes to you both!

Okay a couple of updates

Dave Vaughn and Hal Toy are 98% booked into Kollmerhof for reunion weekend thanks to Ami Charlies efforts.
Doug Lindberg is at 80% will arrive and not booked into Cafe Frank atleast not at this time ... guess my grey cells are sort of screwed up this spring.
Dick Dishman and companion Hanalore will be at reunion and of course staying where they live in Furth im Wald.

Okay we are putting together Mother-in-laws 90th birthday; Bad Koetztinger Pfingsfest; and the Rimbach Reunion.  So we will be in Bad Koetzting starting May 19 and hanging in there through the Rimbachvets Reunion weekend.
Hope to see and meet new friends…  I’m bringing my 2004 Vets Baseball Hat!
