Seems the Governor is having problems finding the document he promised to find.

Hawaii Gov. Neil Abercrombie suggested in an interview published today that a long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate for Barack Obama may not exist within the vital records maintained by the Hawaii Department of Health.

Abercrombie told the Honolulu Star Advertiser he was searching within the Hawaii Department of Health to find definitive vital records that would prove Obama was born in Hawaii, because the continuing eligibility controversy could hurt the president’s chances of re-election in 2012.

Just curious Jim but why is it whenever someone on the right posts something you immediately demand “proof” that it is factual and yet you accept Obama’s word as gospel? If the governor can’t find anything but a written piece of ????  how then was Obama able to produce a document with a raised seal certifying authenticity? Is it perhaps a forgery? At this point in time it would be disasterous for the country if he were found to be a fraud. I had a phony NY State drivers license when I was 17 and the drinking age was 18. Since it really wasn’t a license why was I subject to prosecution if I used it as ID? It really wasn’t a document,just an imitation. A reasonable person would ask some basic questions. Like, is there a legal difference between the “Certificate of Live Birth” (birth certificate) and the “Certification of Live Birth”?
The answer is yes, according to Hawaiian law.
Basically, the Certification of Live Birth doesn’t necessarily come from the birth certificate.

Fact: a Certification of Live Birth, in the State of Hawaii, is NOT the same as a Certificate of Live Birth or Birth Certificate.
Fact: the laws of the State of Hawaii have so stated that disconnect.

If the laws of the State of Hawaii required that the Certification of Live Birth exactly match the information on the Certificate of Live Birth, why would the Governor of Hawaii have to find proof (the Birth Certificate)? He could point to his own laws and show that the legal link existed but the link does not exist.

Why can’t the Governor of the State of Hawaii find and show a legal document that is in his care in a 2 month time span?
