Although we won’t be able to attend in ‘09 we’ll be with all of you in spirit and hope you all have the best of times.  Prior to arriving in Rimbach for the ‘04 reunion we (the Wetzels) and the Sampsons came down from Berlin thru Dresden.  We spent a night in Dresden at the D’Art Hotel (if I remember correctly).  The prices were reasonable and the rooms had some very disginuishable and conversational features.  I think all ex-Rimbachers would have a good time there.  Phil Wetzel

Update on that hotel information, I was close.  I checked my records from ‘04 and it was actually the “art’otel”

If this info is still current my ‘04 Germany travel guide reads: “recently renovated, displaying more than 600 works of art by A.R. Penck.  The restaurant specializes in California cuisine.”  We didn’t eat in the restaurant, we were kind of in the mood for European/German cuisine for some reason.
