I bought my gas one day too early.  It’s $3.23 at the station I got it for $3.32 yesterday.  Today Sam’s is at $3.28 whereas several other stations are at $3.14 to $3.19.
At least I did get double milk stamps. 

And the price was back up to $3.35 at the same place while Sam’s went to $3.30.  Must be because of Groundhog Day.

Prices jumped about a dime almost everywhere here this morning.  Sam’s still lowest at $3.33, but most others at $3.39 to $3.45.

Jumpe 10 cents to $3.39 at my benchmark place Friday. Haven’t been around town much to see if it jumped elsewhere, but I imagine it did.

Sam’s dropped back to $3.29 today.  Others at $3.36 to $3.39.

My benchmark placed droop 3 to $3.36 today, but Kroger was still at $3.39, while the smaller independents I saw were at $3.49. Looks like the big boys are putting the squeeze on ‘em.

My benchmark place is back to $3.39 today.

Jumped to $3.45 today at my benchmark place, and it looks like it won’t go down soon.

I need to change planets.

Up to $3.49, which seems like the target price most everywhere today.

Most places now at $3.45, and a few at $3.49. But Mobile is higher, as expected, at $3.55. And, strangely, so are the local Exxon stations.

Wouldn’t you know it? Now, Exxon has dropped back to $3.45.

Exxon has become very erratic. While my benchmark station and Walmart are still at $3.45 (as of noon today, anyway), Exxon has now jumped to $3.59.

My benchmark place finally jumped today from $3.45 to $3.54, as did Walmart. Exxon went up from $3.55 to $3.59.

Sam’s is at $3.52 today.  Most others at $3.59.
