The wife suggested this to me the other day and I say it sounds good. After listening to the amount of monies raised by both parties she asked, “why don’t they both use the money to pay down the national debt instead of running endless I’m good he’s bad commercials?” It would certainly be an acid test as to the sincerity of both parties alleged concern for the nation over the party.Heck,it would even be a legitimate tax deduction for all those billionaires looking for loopholes.

That’s the problem. They are more concerned about the party than they are about the country. With the existing media and internet access plus a law enacted making X number of hours available to candidates free of charge for public airing this could be accomplished. I’m tired of seeing people with the best PR men and biggest wallets getting the nod.
