Reported by Charlie Russell.

This was what we used to do on Mt. Hoherbogen when we got bored. The idea was to take one of those patch cords, they were heavy on the ends with the phono jack plugs, and whip it like a lasso with one hand, and try to pop a knot into it. The person who got the most knots in one was declared the winner and got a free bier from each of the losers. This was the winning knot from April 16th, 1969. (See attachment.) I don’t recall who won that evening or how many knots were in the patch cord. I do have the time listed as 1:59 A.M.!
