Thank You for the invitation to Reunion2009. Unfortunately I cannot participate for being busy at work, but I wish You succeed and have fun while meeting. I deeply regret I cannot meet You, thus I’ll try to hand Your invitation over to some former soldiers I know and I’ll also place a short memo on my web for potential participants to see.

Be nice is if even one or two of those guys could make it. I’d understand, though, if they declined simply because they didn’t know any of us beforehand. But we’d certainly make sure they got to know us quickly!

So I’d add, “Yes, please join us in Rimbach! We’ll get to know one another over beer and old stories!”
