Charlie’s laid out the plans as they stand for now in an e-mail Sunday:

Hi People,

Only 5 weeks until the reunion in Rimbach. These are my ideas of things we could do at the reunion.

The weekend 12, 13, 14 looks pretty well planned out, Friday, marching into the beertent with all the differant Rimbach clubs, that will be about 6 o´clock in the evening, not bad if you think about it, a group of americans that have now lived in the village for over 20 years are connsidered by most Rimbachers still as part of Rimbach, thats down to earth tradition for you. Anyway Sat. afternoow weather permitting and if we are will visit the Germany Army Gardenfest in kotzting, in the evening in the beer tent where there will be a Bavarian Evening that i think will be queit entertaining. Sunday some where around 11 o´clock midday up the hill to the old sites and the Schonblick. I think that will fill out out the weekend pretty well.
Before the weekend or after we can make day trips to. Regensberg, old part of the city, it is possible to get a american speaking guide, or to Passau, or Nürmberg or all.
A day trip into the CZ, will most liky have to be by Bus as i think most of you people will not be allowed to drive your rented cars into the CZ. The bus company in Rimbach is very flexible and of coarse i know the owner, he has told me we can or short notice a day or two make a trip to Cherkov and onto to Taus if there is people who want to do that, i´m will say, there is not to much to see there.
I hope this will help everybody and as a group i hope and think we are open to any and all suggestion.

You’al take care, Ami Charlie
