It was good to see you and it was Cindy that managed to find the crisco.  (I was to dumb to look in the oils section of the store)>We both had a great time at the reunion.  We are both looking forward to the next time we get together.  And yes it did take a while to get that first bier!  I finally went to the first table and demanded(?) my bier.  After that I had no problem getting the next four.  It was a very nice fest, but somehow I remember festbier as being a bit heavier and smoother.  Anyway I would not have missed it for anything.

Here are the pictures I took from the German Reunion. Maria took most of the people pictures, and she has her own set of great photos. I finally got some time to work on mine. Three of these pictures are not mine. Two are Bill Lamb’s. On of those is Les and Tatiana in white clothing. The others of them are ours. The other Bill Lamb photo is Pineapple in the striped shirt with his arms extended, and his daughter Andrea. The reason I did not edit them out, is that I am sharing the photo album with many people, and I did not want to make two versions. Thanks Bill for offering, I have always admired your pictures.
Layne’s daughter Andrea, sent me the picture of her, Maria, and Charlie Russell together. I think her cousin took it! So far it’s the best picture I have seen of us that evening in the bierzelt, you would think we were drinking hard or something. Even old Bill Lamb himself made an absolutely horrific picture of Maria & me, where we looked like a Dali painting, distorted, drunk, maybe melting. If you can’t trust Bill Lamb to get a good people picture, then we must have been really under the weather or something.
If you take your mouse and position it over the the picture, you will get captions for the pictures.

Concerning the link to the pictures, there is a character being stripped from the link when I upload it to the website. I am unsure why this is happening, but I tested it again. I sent the same link to The Rimbach Talk group, and it works flawless. Anyone who wants to view the pictures, and does not have a functioning link to it, E-mail me and I will send you a link. Thanks!

Jim/  I just got back from Ohio where we enjoyed that wonderful Dornfeld Mosel.  We had to drink it near Lake Erie as it was too far to the Ohio River. I never knew that there were red Mosels.  Cindy drank more of it than she normally does of wine and said to tell you that the next time you come to the states, it would be nice if a couple of bottles slipped into your luggage…  This is a high compliment from her.  Too bad I have never seen it in the states.  Thanks again from both of us.
Oh yes.  Glad you liked the pie crust. grin
