Couldn’t agree more with the usually very suspect town hall. Petitions are not electorial ballots. If you want to protest or try to achieve something then put your name with pride on a petition. Why try to hide it? Yes, many practicies and laws need to be chanllenged but to me this is a no-brainer. In Seattle and Washington State we do many things by referendum and even have sales tax in lieu of income tax but to be afraid of your name on a petition is a new one on me…. Must be the Eastern WA religious fanatics freightening people again.

I agree, Jim. What’s the point of signing a petition if you don’t your identity revealed.
