I found your interesting site while looking for Hoherbogen info. I worked for Harris Corp from 1965-1985 and was responsible for the design of all equipment from the antenna connector to the receiver outputs. I visited a few times during install to work out a few bugs but was unable to witness the full operation. I hope it worked well.

There are a few LFV staffers here, so they might chime on how it all worked. That was all after my time. I left in December of ‘75.

Good to have you LFV guys here with us. In a way, you’re the last generation of Rimbachers (even if you just designed it wink ) and vital to the whole story.

Hope you can make it to the Monterey reunion in November. It’s not so much about the language school as it is just getting together and swapping stories. Where ... well, that just varies. grin Plan to join us!
