RIMBACH — A mass was held at the Rimbach Pfarrkirche for US soldier Tom Lindsey, killed in an accident several days earlier. The German Army in Kötzting and the French unit in Furth-im-Wald sent representatives. The mass was conducted by the military chaplain from Grafenwöhr. Many comrades from Rimbach paid their last respects.

The deceased was born on the 18th of September 1950 as the only son of Jakson and Marie Lindsey of Houston, Texas. He had been stationed in Rimbach one year.
