This is a photo of the site, probably taken in 1968, which served as the back cover of the December 1969 issue of Hallmark (the official ASA magazine). You’re looking back towards the road and standing between the ops building and the rock outcropping where the bigger antennas were mounted. The two white trailers on the right are the commo center and the transcription shack and, of course, that’s the ELINT tower. The black structure on the left is the guard shack.
The caption reads: “Neither war nor peace alters the mission of Agency men who spend their holidays on lonely vigils throughout the world.”
Note that the photo is reversed.
