Heinrichmeyer’s Pension Hohenbogen was commonly called “the Hohe Bogen.” This pension at one time housed the largest contingent of American personnel and was the beginning and ending point of trick runs. It also featured a full public restaurant.
Heinrichmeyer’s Pension Hohenbogen was commonly called “the Hohe Bogen or Hohen Bogen” The Cafe was opened around 1963, but the rooms were added in 1966 and the ASA people assigned to stay there that year helped carry in and set up the furniture for the rooms as they arrived there in the spring deployment of 1966. This pension at one time housed the largest contingent (20 - 2 men rooms) of American personnel and was the beginning and ending point of trick runs. It also featured a full public restaurant.
